paper programming codes
Is it possible to ask the author of paper to give me the programming of codes of that paper.if he is a very famous professor , normally how long..

to 3: what is our rights 一般文章后边如果写了程序可以通过邮件索取，应该就可以要来的。 有的时候他们是公共基金支持的项目，那他们有义务和大家共享他们的程序，当然，往往不是这样的。
索要算法恐怕更困难，我觉得算法比程序原代码还重要，因为有了算法就可以写程序，甚至写出更高质量的来。
一般我就模糊的说，有没有什么东西让我运行下看看，然后看他愿意提供什么了。 一般最起码会提供编译好的binary 的。
最有意思的一次，他们发了一个合同过来，让我老板签字保证，只做科研用途，不给其他人。然后给我邮寄了一个试用版光盘，一大盒东西，还是免费的。

恐怖的不是我们的英文，而是你这种人。我不觉得作为中国人，英语好有什么了不起的，甚至可以来挤兑人。这个版之前有帖子讨论和鼓励用英语交流。所以我在这里用中文和英文都很坦然，由心情和兴趣决定。
你如果觉得我的英语说的不对，可以指正；你要是没看懂我的英语，then it is your problem.
