About the JobKey Roles and Responsibilities:1. Business managementBe responsible for the achievement of the businessobjectives of the German laboratory.Coordinate, supervise, and ensure the production cycles.Optimize processes and improve the productivity of theLaboratoryOrganize public activities of the laboratory.2. Strategies makingParticipate in strategy-making for the German laboratory.Make annual plans and a work breakdown structure for the laboratory.Carry out corresponding assessments.3. System optimization and communicationBuild, optimize and supervise the laboratory systems.Maintain systems, respond quickly to any breakdowns inmachines or processesCarry out the corresponding assessments.Act as an effective a bridge between company leaders in theheadquarters and the laboratoryliaise with lab technicians effectively, as well as internaland external clients4. Team buildingManage and lead different departments in the laboratory.Be responsible for team building, skills training, groupteaching and ensure stabilization of the laboratory5. Budget controlCalculate and adjust budgets required for the laboratory.Supervise budget implementation.6. Other tasksMay be assigned by the line manager from headquarters when necessary.Qualifications & Requirements: Qualifications & RequirementsA Bachelor’s or advanced degree in molecular biology,molecular science, genetics, biotechnology, or similar subject is required,with three-years and above NGS lab related experienceStrong teamwork ethic and the commitment to successfullydeliver to tight deadlines are essentialHigh accuracy and attention to detail are a must for bothlaboratory and office-based workFluent operating Microsoft Office software including Word,Excel and PowerPoints is essentialExcellent time management skillsExcellent in understanding graphsHigh sense of responsibility for maintaining accuraterecords and preparing reportsThorough knowledge of all the equipment and processes usedin the laboratoryExperience within a hospital or clinical laboratory isadvantageous.Fluent in Chinese and German, conversational in English isadvantageous.Work LocationJustus-Staudt-Straße 265555 Limburg an der LahnJob Type:Full-timeBenefits:Full training will be provided in the U.S.Bonus schemeOn-site parking
