给大家几个婚礼开支的预算参考

My BudgetTotal:$5000

$1,704
Reception (Assumes 12 Guests)

$1,000
Food►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Serve brunch or lunch, which tends to cost less than dinner.
Keep your courses in check. Have a seated dinner, but serve three courses instead of five.
Offer a children's menu. Pizza will be more popular with the wee ones than costly foie gras, anyway.
$300
Bar►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Hold the Grey Goose. Top-shelf liquor can pack a huge punch to your bar bill.
Bring your own liquor. You'll avoid mark-ups that caterers charge to make a profit. Just beware of corkage fees.
Serve only beer and wine. Choose domestic beer and local wine to save the most.
$75
Cake►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Use fresh flowers. Sugar icing and marzipan decorations are labor-intensive and costly.
Keep it simple. Choose an easy-to-create Swiss dot pattern over a labor-intensive basket-weave design.
Be square. A square cake will yield up to 30 percent more slices than a round cake of the same dimensions.
$329
Venue & Rentals►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Think outside the box. Venues that don't specialize in weddings but host events (think lighthouses or aquariums) may have a lower per-guest cost.
Rent a pole tent, the most classic and affordable tent option.
Choose a well-equipped space. The less you have to rent, the less you'll spend.

$585
Attire

$397
Bride's Dress►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Wear an all-white evening gown. You'll achieve a bridal look for less.
Shop sample sales, where upscale department stores sell last-season wedding dresses to make room for new styles.
Make a bid on eBay. You could save big, especially on designer wedding dresses.
$88
Bride's Accessories►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Borrow your headpiece. You'll save money and have your traditional "something borrowed."
Keep your veil short. The longer the veil, the more it costs.
Purchase plain white pumps. Glue on beads, lace, or bows to add glamour and flair.
$48
Hair & Makeup►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Apply your own makeup. Get how-to tips from a pro before your big day.
Eschew designer products. Drugstore brands like Maybelline can be just as good.
Hit the salon. Some hairstylists charge their full-day rate to go off-site, even if they only spend two hours with you.
$52
Groom's Outfit►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Rent the tux instead of purchasing a brand-new one.
Suit up. A formal black suit will cost less than a tux.
Wear khakis and a jacket instead of a costly suit if you're having an informal wedding.

$975
Photo/Video

$603
Photo►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Keep your negatives. You'll be able to make prints whenever you want without paying the studio.
Skip the formal album. Embrace your inner craftiness and make your own creative look book.
Limit the scope of the job. Have a pro shoot your ceremony and reception, but ask a shutterbug friend to capture the "before shots."
$372
Video►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Go hourly. Hire a videographer to shoot only your ceremony and the start of your reception.
Be specific. Give your videographer a "must-capture" list and be clear that you don't want hours of people dancing or eating.
Customize it. Hire a videographer who offers customized coverage rather than someone who works from a predetermined (nonnegotiable) price list.

$543
Music

$69
Ceremony►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Get friendly. Ask a talented friend to sing instead of hiring a vocalist.
Stick with the church organist. Skip the more costly string quartet.
Go solo. Hire a soloist instead of a string quartet.
$414
Reception►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Set a time limit. Hire your band for four hours instead of five.
Stick with one agency. Fees for ceremony soloists will often be prorated if the same agency books the band.
Hire a DJ, a less costly alternative to a band.
$60
Cocktail Hour►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Scale back. Hire only a piano or guitar player instead of a full band.
Play pre-recorded music. Save the live music for the reception.
Hire a high school quartet. Talented student groups often perform at big events for less than professional groups.

$498
Flowers

$52
Brides Bouquets►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Stick with one color. Monochromatic bouquets look fuller than multihue bouquets.
Carry a nosegay, a smaller arrangement that will cost less than a cascade bouquet.
Stay in season. Seasonal blooms are more available and cost less.
$86
Bridesmaids Bouquets►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Hit a farmers' market. Buy blooms in bulk, and assemble bouquets with your bridesmaids.
Scale back. Save embellishments like feathers for your bouquet.
Less is more. Choose less expensive but still beautiful blooms like daisies.
$24
Male Attendants' Flowers►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Skip the boutonnieres. These flowers are optional, not mandatory.
Choose a single bloom instead of multiple blooms or embellishments.
Ask about a freebie. If you choose sprigs that echo your bouquet or centerpieces, many florists will toss in boutonnieres for free.
$336
Centerpieces & Decorations►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Get creative. Artfully stack-wrapped favors in lieu of flowers.
Scale back. Use candles lavishly and flowers sparingly.
Forgo fresh-cut flowers. Use beautifully painted pots of herbs or plants.

$208
Wedding Rings

$104
Her Band►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Less is more. Choose a ring with several smaller stones instead of one big stone.
Wear an heirloom ring instead of purchasing a new one.
Avoid big-name jewelers, where you're paying for the name as well as the jewelry.
$104
His Band►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Skip the engraving. Buy a plain band now, and engrave it on a milestone anniversary.
Go for the gold. White gold looks like platinum but costs much less.
Shop online-only retailers, which have lower overhead costs than brick-and-mortar stores.

$10
Stationery (Assumes 12 Guests)

$8
Invitations►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Be an early bird. Rush charges can double the cost of invitations.
Go light on your invites. Heavy papers and inserts require more postage.
Skip the calligrapher. Enlist a friend with good penmanship to address your envelopes instead.
$2
Other Stationery►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Do triple duty. Bottles of champagne and potted flowers can serve as place cards, favors, and even escort cards.
Let guests seat themselves. You won't need escort or place cards, or table numbers.
Inquire about package prices. Some stationers offer discounts if you order all of your stationery at the same time.

$149
Favors & Gifts (Assumes 12 Guests)

$5
Favors►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Create recipe books, which feature dishes served at your wedding, for each guest.
Show off your baking skills. Give each guest a mini version of Mom's signature apple pie.
Assemble your own treats. Enlist your bridesmaids to help you fill clear boxes with Jordan almonds that you buy in bulk.
$144
Attendant Gifts►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Be sentimental. Make each bridesmaid a photo album starring the two of you.
Cook things up. Thank your maids with a lovely homemade dinner or brunch.
Share your love of music. Make customized CDs for each guest.

$207
Limos

$108
Couple's Transportation►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Skip the bells and whistles. Hot tubs and stocked bars are costly and a bit cheesy.
Don't have a car on call. Arrange for transportation to and from the ceremony and reception only.
Focus on your getaway. Rent a flashy getaway car but ride to your ceremony in your maid of honor's car.
$99
Guest Parking/shuttle►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Set up shuttle service. If your site's parking is pricy, set up cheaper parking elsewhere, and enlist friends to take guests to your event.
Car pool. Ask your attendants to drive themselves to the ceremony.
Hold your entire event in one place. Even better, hold your event at a hotel, where out-of-towners can also stay.

$121
Ceremony

$6
License

$115
Site/Officient Fee►

SAVVY SHOPPER TIPS & TRICKS
Choose a decorative space. Think a beautifully landscaped garden or a church done up for the holidays to cut decor costs.
Tone down the pageantry. If you're having a simple ceremony, skip candle lighters, altar servers, cantors, lecturers, and readers all of whom deserve a tip.
Borrow your aisle runner from the church. Even if there's a fee, it will usually be less than if you rent it elsewhere.

My Budget (2) Total:$8,000
