“大象小姐”选美赛诞生于1997年，由泰国大象保护基金会主办，此后每年举行一次，目的是为宣传保护大象。获得名次的胖美人将担任泰国大象的保育大使，一起参加各种慈善、宣传活动，为保护泰国大象筹募基金。她们有着庞大的体型，却拒绝自卑。在她们身上
