Well, mm, I have similiar problems like you before.
First, I am not sure if I am ready for a kid------but I know if I don't try at least once then I will never be ready.
Secondly, I also agree that we enjoy our life better now without kids-----but I guess I won't be able to enjoy it that much when I am 50.
Thirdly, If I do get pragnent, I am sure that I will love the kid as much as my parents love me. And I will do all my best to raise him and make him happy. We can't make sure that he is definite smart or 100% healthy, but at least we will let him feel that he is deeply beloved by us. And he is God's gift.
Last but the least, yes, our life is gonna change a lot with the birth of a child, but better or worse?Who knows? Just like our lives, it doesn't just get better------we have to do our best to make it better, right?
So, have kids when you feel it is almost the time, once you have it, then you are ready!
Btw, I plan for a baby maybe this year!
