Director可以是导演的意思，但是在公司和企业层面上，Director是指公司的董事，法律上常常用来指代法人。

Outside就不用说了吧，外层，外面的意思

因为楼主看起来是在给某个汽车公司翻译，所以这个应该从公司层面上翻译，Outside Directors指那些不参与公司管理事务的董事或董事会成员
