英国的Reader/Senior Leturer 相当于什么级别？

我看职位描述说要领导一个统计小组。
还有就是记得以前那里看文章说过英国的教授相当于德国的大教授，leturer 相当于教授？

Lecturer in UK= Associate Professor in China = Assistant Professor in USA,

but sometimes lecturer positions in UK are permanent positions, it differs from those assistant professor under tenue-track.

Lecturers in UK could be promoted to full professor in the future, but they can supervise Ph.D. at any time.

is this right?

我想大概正确吧，不过reader级别比senior lecturer高，reader是有professor资格了，但该方向如果有大教授在的话，就得等着大教授退休或者走人。一个方向一个大教授。

中文翻译很多时候根本不靠谱. 如果 Lecturer in UK= Associate Professor in China 那么你所谓的副教授就是lecturer 而不是senior lecturer 更不是 reader

但是他们的待遇天差地别，所以你说不记得我很shock

待遇，的确也不记得了。这是两年前的事情了。。。。
