同问！转机时间只有2个多小时，不出海关，要过境签证吗？

柏林加拿大使馆，过境签好像加急的话，当天就能拿下来。

Easier transit via Canada for travel to the U.S.

March 28, 2011
Air Canada is an approved air carrier participating in the Canadian government's Transit without Visa (TWOV) program, and China Transit Trial (CTT). This participation allows Air Canada's customers who are citizens of certain Asian countries and who are transiting through either Vancouver Airport or Toronto-Pearson Airport to travel to or from the U.S. without obtaining a Canadian temporary resident visa under the conditions outlined below.
Eligible passengers
The TWOV program applies to the following passengers only:

Citizens from Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) and Thailand who hold
      A valid passport issued by an approved country (listed above), and
      A U.S. visa that is valid upon their arrival in the U.S.

The CTT applies to the following passengers only:

Citizens of China who:
      Are traveling direct to Canada from one of six approved embarkation points in Asia including Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
      Who hold a valid Chinese passport.
      Who hold a U.S. visa that is valid upon their arrival in the U.S.

Approved airports and carriers
The TWOV program and CTT apply only to:

These approved airports: Vancouver Intl. Airport and Toronto Pearson Intl. Airport.
Approved air carriers, including Air Canada and Air Canada Express (operated by Jazz)

The Transit Without Visa (TWOV) program operates at the following airports:

Vancouver International Airport in British Columbia, Canada.
Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport (Terminal 1 only)

Eligibility criteria

An airport authority must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the program:

There is a functioning U.S. in-transit pre-clearance (USITPC) facility at the airport;
It has the required facilities to allow passengers under the TWOV program to go from the airplane directly to a USITPC facility or to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) area for examination or to a designated transit area for Fifth Freedom Right [ 1 ] flights whose passengers are to be examined upon arrival in the United States; and
It signs a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the CBSA that sets out the terms and conditions of the TWOV program.

Notice: To exercise the Fifth Freedom Right, the airline's home country must have obtained the necessary Fifth Freedom Right in its air agreements with both the bilateral partner country and the third country involved. For more information, contact Transport Canada.

The following airlines are currently eligible to transport passengers under the TWOV program:

Air Canada
Jazz Aviation LP
Cathay Pacific
China Airlines
Philippine Airlines
Air China

Eligibility criteria

An airline must meet specific criteria in order to be eligible for the TWOV program including, but not limited to, the following:

It meets all requirements to fly into Canada and to operate in Canadian airspace;
It flies to a TWOV-approved airport;
It has access to USITPC facilities at the airport or a designated transit area for Fifth Freedom Right flights;
It holds an MOU with the CBSA that is in good standing as per section 280 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations(this MOU outlines the requirements for transporting passengers to Canada); and
It signs an MOU with CIC and the CBSA that sets out the terms and conditions of the TWOV program.
Important: Participating airlines must collect and report TWOV passenger data to the Government of Canada, as identified in the TWOV Memorandum of Understanding, for statistical and program evaluation purposes.

The Fifth Freedom Right is the right of an airline from one country to land in a second country, pick up passengers and fly them to a third country where passengers then deplane.

1.我朋友的机票，过2天就飞了，
不知道，明天去柏林加拿大使馆，能否当天拿下过境签证

2.刚刚问了，AIR CANADA接线员说，不确定－在德国起飞经加拿大飞美国，是否需要转机过境签的。
但是欧洲经过加拿大转机，过境加拿大去美国都比较松。

对，加拿大航空在法兰克福登机口有航空人员对中国护照持有者，进行德文或英文的简单询问，
查看是否有转机签证，害怕有偷渡倾向。。。

我当年也是飞AIR CANADA，但是就没有直飞OTTAWA的航班，结果是走了蒙特利尔，然后搭BUS去OTTAWA的

其实加拿大挺友好的，只要是正常的出游，没事的

其实 ...

1.当时就临近起飞2天前，电话加拿大航空确认机票电子票号的时候，
他们接线员告知要转机签证，第2天就买了特快火车票陪朋友去了柏林加拿大大使馆。

2.转机签证是免费的，上午9点开门，下午3点就取到了。
因为时间很紧，多亏了大使馆签证人员的慈悲照顾。当天就拿到了签证。

3.现在有法兰克福直飞渥太华Ottawa航班，是大飞机波音760－300,
座位是左2－中3－右2制式的宽体客机，每个座位后面都有独立的电视，里面有
很多电影，电视片，音乐，电台和游戏等娱乐项目。
航空服务员，都很友善，还可以另外单点食物和酒精饮料，价格不贵适中。

4.渥太华机场中等大，海关人员很友善，过关时是亚裔检察官，
很友好，问了去美国逗留几天，有足够的资金没有，是否能找到
网上预定的酒店，还有在德国是读书还是工作等小的细节问题。
感觉那个检察官很年轻，好像是中国大陆的移民去的加拿大谋生的。

在渥太华转机美国很方便，先出关，提取行李，然后托运行李去美国关口，
进入美国安检区，然后进入美国海关，最后进入候机厅，可以买到很多便宜
零食，咖啡，饮料和各种糕点，报刊杂志。直接可以刷德国的信用卡，很方便。

5.特别喜欢渥太华和多伦多机场很干净，安静，机场食物不贵，服务人员很友善。
还有免费的 W Lan使用。
买了巧克力牛奶DOLLAR 1,99 CAD 大概1欧多点，薯片也是1,99 CAD。
薯片很好吃，和德国的完全不一样的。

我去加拿大的时候应该是02年，法兰克福飞的，那个时候飞OTTAWA的直航少，时间没碰上就只能转飞别的附近城市再搭BUS

AIR CANADA的空乘比较友善，年龄也较大，其中一位跟我在飞机上聊过，后来一周多以后回程在飞机上又再次遇见，很巧哈

1.Air Canada 空中服务员都是大妈大叔，工作有经验，服务很好
感觉他们比国航，汉莎要好多了，很人性化的服务

2.现在有直飞渥太华的航班，飞机很整洁
飞机上他们都会法语，不过我听不懂，想自学呢，不知道什么材料比较
适合自学，进步快呢
