If you issued a formal letter of guarantee (Verpflichtungserklärung),
then the costs of the visit are covered, you do not need to provide
other bank statements from Germany. In particularly for longer stays, a
formal letter of guarantee (Verpflichtungserklärung) is recommended. If
you you can not provide a Verpflichtungserklärung yourself you can also
ask a friend or other relative in Germany to issue the
Verpflichtungserklärung instead. The invotor (you) and the guarantor do
not have to be the same person.
If you can not provide a Verpflichtungserklärung, you will have to hope
that the other dosuments of your parents (bank statements etc.) will
make up for the lack of a formal Verpflichtungserklärung. The embassy
will not pre-check your case via e-mail; the decision regarding your
case will only be made after submission of your application on the basis
of all the materials you provided.
Please note that even if you provide a Verpflichtungserklärung, your
parents still need to provide bank accounts to portray their living
situation in China. This is a different issue from the travel costs though. |
