数学专业在德国毕业后好找工作吗？

我说一下我家秃头,,
他是学应用数学专业的,我最近看资料说是Ingenieur出来赚得有可能比数学博士多,
我就臭他,他说他至少不会失业,还可以当个老师,,
我是想说要当个老师何必费那个功夫读博士呢,读个Ingenieur不是更好吗?

人各有志。最好还是干自己喜欢的。

另外数学不同专业的收入也很不一样， 我有个同学斯坦福统计系毕业的，现在在投行。 年薪可以是我的好几倍了。

制药安全方面的数学博士也很吃香的。 当然，优秀的diplom 肯定比糟糕的Dr. 赚钱多。

有了数学底子搞什么理工科经济类的东西不行?

数学专业太多应用方向了,精算是一个吧,另外,应用数学,统计数学等经济类应用面太广了,

只要不要学一些无聊的图,环,域什么的就比较有戏

工科不好说。
很多工科需要很强的动手能力，那是另外一种思维方式。
抽象理论思维能力好，实际动手能力差的人太多了。

No offense. It doesn't really depend on what you've studied. Every year there are tons of students graduated from schools and there is such a variation in terms of salary from person to person. If you are the ones of the excellent groups, plus, the companies really appreciate your skill, you'll have a better chance for a better career; that is all. It is market's call and you'll never know the future. There is no such thing as guaraentee; only a matter of your ability. Do a survey and you will find an answer. More importantly, you should figure out whether you are interested in this field. Some people are born for this field, and of course, they get better lives afterwards. But it is definitely not for ALL! I do know a guy who studied mathematics a few years back and he gets a fairly good salary but unfortunately most of his classmates are not that lucky.
