Don't worry!!!

My german is really bad. When I worked in a investment company,  most of meetings are in German. At beginning, I had no idea what they were discussing. But some time late, I at least understood what they were discussing.

I still remember my manager when I worked in an US company in China. She said "Don't worry your english, you only need to know several hundred words and it is enough to deal with your work". I did not believe at beginning. But one year late, I really found most of discussion about work will be limited by those english words.

Furthermore, it is very seldom to make investment decision by one person. Even you want to  throw away   100 euro in purpose, it is not easy. There are so many procedures.

Belive yourself and you will manage it !!

I totally agreed with you.
Look what you said. The words are so simple but everyone can understand what you say.
I think someone just go into a maze. They think, if they want to speak fluent German or English, they should know at least 5000 words. They try to use complicate words to express their ideas. I think this is wrong.
Simple is the best in the spoken language.

LZ 严重支持你，现在偶在公司实习，领导的话基本上只能听懂一半，还有满嘴的语法错误，没办法，呵呵，只能慢慢来，还好没有失去信心，一直在努力进步中
