农业板块去年因为石油价格的原因，去年火了一把，你在 yahoo 上把basf , DB ，这些企业的股票走势和种子公司比如kws 比较一下看出来了。

当然股票价格只是一方面。

就业方面，据我所知有几个分枝方向还在招人。 比如几个月前，一个大化学公司就在招人研究抗虫作物， 一开始的起点是博士毕业，无限期合同。后来变成企业读博士或者博后都可。  也受大形势影响，不过目前还没有那么严重。


   种子培育 和生物能源如果你能做的话可以尝试下。

另外问下楼主那个大学的？

如果你生物数学方面比较强的话，应该是不难在植物领域找到工作

因为生物统计毕业的话，一般先考虑去制药。 植物领域一直都缺生统人才，植物领域现有的人才也是不断朝制药跳。 有机会的话，你也可以去制药领域看看运气，这要看你具体作什么的了。

制药领域一般还算稳定。人总是要生病的了。

PhD student in Agricultural Economics

Within the subproject “Innovations and Sustainability Strategies” of the Uplands Program (SFB 564), a research position is opening in the field of agricultural economics.

The research aims at increasing the efficiency of pesticide use by farm households in mountainous areas of northern Thailand. The prospective candidate will contribute to the development of new analytical methods and work intensively with stakeholders, such as farmers and extension services.

Candidates should have completed a MSc in agricultural economics and have an interest in quantitative methods. Fluency in English is a must. The position has a probation period of 6 months, after which the contract can be extended upon mutual consent.
